To celebrate the release of the true next gen Mortal Kombat game, Next Gen News and Sam Film are looking for the real Mortal Kombat Champion. A private tournament is being held at Gamla Vínhúsið (The Old Cellar) at 22:00 on the 19th of April, 2011. The contestants will be hand picked from the event’s official Facebook page and will compete for the title of the “Icelandic Mortal Kombat Champion” and a very sexy Kollectors Edition (picture below).
The runner up will receive a gift certificate for a dinner for two at Gamla Vínhúsið (The Old Cellar) and will also be able to take home some nice refreshing Mountain Dew.
The contestants will be revealed on Friday, the 15th of April, at 20:00. If you are interested in competing, or just want to come and watch the tournament you can either visit the official Facebook page or email FiLTHY ESKiMO to get some press passes.
