Activision and ABC Entertainment Group have announced Wipeout 2, coming this holiday season for the Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii from Nintendo, Kinect for Xbox 360®, and PlayStation Move for Playstation®3 computer entertainment system.

Capcom has announced that the Mega Man Legends 3 project has been discontinued. Last year the return of the Mega Man Legends series was announced as a project involving the fans. The game was Mega Man Legends 3 and was being developed for the Nintendo 3DS, which at the time had not been released.

Ubisoft has announced the creation of a new IP being developed exclusively for Nintendo Wii U. Created by Ubisoft Montpelier, Killer Freaks from Outer Space is a new first person shooter and will release in conjunction with the launch of the Nintendo Wii U.

SEGA and Gearbox Software have revealed that Aliens: Colonial Marines, is being prototyped and considered for the Nintendo Wii U. In partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and developed by Gearbox Software, Aliens: Colonial Marines for this new gaming console is currently under construction by a dedicated research and development branch within the studio.

During Nintendo’s E3 2011 press conference, the company unveiled the Wii U, a new console that includes a controller with a 6.2-inch screen. Each Wii U console will be partnered with a new controller and can also use up to four additional Wii Remote or Wii Remote Plus controllers.
