That’s not the point. The point is stealing from developers who put their game out for people to enjoy, and to get paid. If they wanted it to be given to people for free, they would have done so.

And why does every person says that they downloaded, but they still bought AT FULL PRICE? Really, what’s the point? And before someone says “I wanted to try it”… RENT IT. The price is significantly lower, and you’re not cheating people out of their hard work.

I really respect Bioware and their work on this game…I want to buy this game, I really do to support them but i’m kinda short on money…i have to pay driving school, college and summer vacation this year (in my country they rip you of for this shit) and the price of the game is like 500 kn (about 60 euros or 95-100$) which is too much for me so i have to download it through torrent…sry bioware

Where is the story mentioned? It’s not like anyone has mentioned the fact that Shepherd is forced to turn evil near the end and and the actually game ends with a cliff-hanger over whether or not he is alive

If companies weren’t so god damned greedy about their profit margin, we might pay for games. Just because you can’t/won’t mod and Xbox360 and join in the fun, keep your mouth shut. I’ll start paying for Microsoft shit again when they release a product that isn’t worldwide defective (RRoD). And I bought mine used so I got dicked on warranty. Fixed it myself, modded it, now I have my revenge.

Video game retailers have more of an effect on the financial successes of game development houses; the real blight is pre-owned games. Here’s an example: Recently Assassin’s Creed 2 was £39.99 pre-owned in my local branch of Game and £44.99 new. I know prices fluctuate and onine it is much cheaper but not everyone uses the internet and many use such shops. Customers buy the pre-owned game instead of the real game and this profit goes entirely to the retailer.

So who do you think is worse? The guys who pirate games that they would have no intention of buying otherwise or the retailers who provide nearly-new games to the game buying public which circumvent the revenue stream back to the developers? It’s worth thinking about next time your browsing the pre-owned bins…

Why are the people that buy the games bothered about what the downloaders are doing? If you enjoy the game why give a f**k about how anyone might get hold of it? You’re probably the same idiots who go on a sunny holiday and constantly check if it’s sunnier back home. Just be content with your own lives because I’m sure the downloaders just enjoy the game and don’t give you a second thought. I’m a developer and I enjoy it immensely and I’d rather everyone got to experience my software than just the rich people who can afford it. Let’s face it we all wear clothes made in sweat shops and eat food from meat factories so if you want to talk of morality then get down off your little soapboxes and look in the mirror.
