Uncharted 2 Among Thieves (8)

Getting that all-important Platinum trophy isn’t hard to do with a little dedication and time. Trophies are displayed in the order they should be listed on the PS3. To save time, it is best to complete the game on Hard to start with, as there is really no benefit on doing it on the other difficulties first. This will unlock Crushing mode, which amps-up the difficulty considerably.

You can use money you earn to unlock skins, videos, weapons and tweaks etc. Saving this money for the slow-motion tweak and various weapons will really help you when you replay levels to get certain trophies.

With some patience you can get all the trophies in just over two play-troughs. It’s certainly worth it as Uncharted is a cracking game. You deserve it’s shiny Platinum.

Master Fortune Hunter (Silver): Find all 100 treasures
We are currently working on a treasure guide. Use this guide for now. The Strange Relic from Chapter 5 makes the available number of treasures actually 101, so you technically only need 99 normal treasures and the Strange Relic to bag this one.

Relic Finder (Bronze): Find the Strange Relic

Survivor (Silver): Defeat 75 enemies in a row without dying
This can be tough on Hard or Crushing to do, so you may want to set it to easy or very easy and select a chapter with lots of bad guys and few cliffs/dangers. If you start from Borneo (Chapter 3) you should have it early into Chapter 5. These chapters have plenty of bad guys to kill but be careful during the chasing-truck sequence that Chapter 5 opens with. Buying the ability to use one hit kills and having infinite ammo will certainly help.

20 Headshots (Bronze): Defeat 20 enemies with headshots
You’ll get this during the course of a playthrough. However, playing on very easy makes this tougher to achieve as it turns on auto-aim.

100 Headshots (Bronze): Defeat 100 enemies with headshots
Again, you should get this during the course of a playthrough.

250 Headshots (Silver): Defeat 250 enemies with headshots
To get this, you’ll need to have played through the game more than once. Playing through on easy with one-hit kills on will work wonders.

Headshot Expert (Bronze): Defeat five enemies in a row with headshots
Not too tricky to get, you just need to perfect your aiming. Using the sniper-rifle should bag you this easily. If your aim is totally rubbish you could always turn on the slow-motion tweak from the store

Run-and-Gunner (Bronze): Defeat 20 enemies by shooting from the hip (without aiming with L1)
You’ll get this during the course of a playthrough, just fire without aiming.

Hangman (Bronze): Defeat 20 enemies with gunfire by aiming while hanging
Look for places during the game to do this, such as chapters five and six, but it’s pretty easy to get early-on.

50 Kills 92FS -9mm (Bronze): Defeat 50 enemies with the 92FS – 9mm
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

50 Kills Micro – 9mm (Bronze): Defeat 50 enemies with the Micro – 9mm
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

30 Kills Wes -44 (Bronze): Defeat 30 enemies with the Wes -44
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

30 Kills Desert -5 (Bronze): Defeat 30 enemies with the Desert -5
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

20 Kills Pistole (Bronze): Defeat 20 enemies with the Pistole
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

70 Kills FAL (Bronze): Defeat 70 enemies with the FAL
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

70 Kills M4 (Bronze): Defeat 70 enemies with the M4
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

50 Kills Dragon Sniper (Bronze): Defeat 50 enemies with the Dragon Sniper
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

30 Kills Moss -12 (Bronze): Defeat 30 enemies with the Moss – 12
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

70 Kills SAS – 12 (Bronze): Defeat 70 enemies with the SAS – 12
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

50 Kills M32 – Hammer (Bronze): Defeat 50 enemies with the M32 – Hammer
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

30 Kills RPG -7 (Bronze): Defeat 30 enemies with the RPG -7
Buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. Be sure to also make use of it in the campaign when possible.

200 Kills GAU – 19 (Bronze): Defeat 200 enemies with the GAU -19
You’re unlikely to get this trophy inside a full story campaign but as always buy the weapon from the store and select a level with plenty of bad guys. You have to drop it to climb and it’s pretty slow to move with, but just keep equiping it from the store once bought.

30 Kills Mk-NDI (Bronze): Defeat 30 enemies with the Mk-NDI
This should come naturally after a campaign or two, The Dig (Chapter 4) has you lobbing plenty of grenades at bad guys. But if you’re still lacking it you can always get it from the store.

Triple Dyno-Might! (Bronze): Defeat three enemies with one explosion
By using grenades and gas canisters this should come throughout a normal campaign. There are plenty of areas you can climate several enemies at once. There’s plenty of explosives available in the store.

Grenade Hangman
(Bronze): Defeat ten enemies with grenades by aiming while hanging
Look for good areas to lob grenades whilst hanging. Chapters 5 and 6 should give you plenty of places to rack up grenade-kills whilst dangling.

Bare-Knuckle Brawler (Bronze): Defeat 20 enemies with hand-to-hand combat
Easy enough to get in a single campaign.

Bare-Knuckle Slugger (Silver): Defeat 50 enemies with hand-to-hand combat
You’ll probably get this in the campaign but you can always replay The Dig (Chapter 4) and get Bar-Knuckle Expert while you’re at it.

Bare-Knuckle Expert (Silver): Defeat ten enemies in a row with hand-to-hand combat
This will be tricky to do on Hard, but if you select The Dig (Chapter 4) on easy or very easy and just run around beating-up punks. Wait until after you use the grenades and don’t kill anyone with a gun. Do this and you’re sorted.

Master Ninje (Silver): Defeat 50 enemies with stealth attacks
Easy enough to get in a single campaign. If you’re playing on hard or crushing difficulty, you should be making use of stealth opportunities at every turn.

Steel Fist Master (Bronze): Defeat 20 enemies with a single punch, after softening them up with gunfire.
To perform this type of kill, make sure you’re on level ground with an enemy and he is facing you, then run at them. Fire twice using a hand-gun without aiming and hit square as you reach him. You should knock him out cold. This sounds complicated but if you can’t master it, follow the steps for Steel Fist Expert and practice!

Steel Fist Expert (Silver): Defeat ten enemies in a row with a single punch, after softening them up with gunfire.
This is one of the toughest trophies to get but can be yours with a little tweak. Go to The Dig (Chapter 4) on easy or very easy and make sure the Slow-Motion tweak is activated. After using the grenades to kill as few people as possible, dart out and run at enemies. Tap fire twice without aiming and then square. This should knock the bad guy out immediately. Do this ten times and you’ll get the trophy. If you screw up your kill-chain with a wayward headshot, kill yourself with a grenade and restart.

Charted! – Easy (Silver): Finish the game in Easy Mode
There’s no prize for very easy! This trophy is also awarded when you complete the game on normal or hard, and you might as well do it on these settings as it’s only a silver.

Charted! – Normal (Gold): Finish the game in Normal Mode
The game is pretty easy on normal. Getting this will also get you Charted -Easy. This trophy is also awarded when you complete the game on hard.

Charted! – Hard (Gold): Finish the game in Hard Mode
Recommended for your first play as it will unlock crushing difficulty and isn’t too tough. When progressing through the game you’ll need to get the hang of headshots, cover and ammo conservation. Getting this trophy unlocks the ones for easy and normal.

Charted! – Crushing (Gold): Finish the game in Crushing Mode
You’ll need balls for this! Enemies can take more hits than you. It’s not fair, but it’s challenging!
Make sure you’re always taking cover and have a second place to dart back to if a grenade comes too close. Grenades and rockets are your own private nightmare in crushing.
Always take out dudes throwing grenades immediately as this can make them drop the grenade and cause a nice spot of mayhem. Shotguns are also lethal even at a distance. Blind-fire as this reduces the risk to you and can take out enemies at close-range. Whenever possible, take guys out silently. Hand-to-hand combat is suicide on crushing, as you leave yourself vulnerable to gunfire.

Thrillseeker (Bronze): Complete one Competitive Multiplayer game
All you have to do is play a multiplayer competitive game online. Requires little effort as you don’t even have to win!

Buddy System (Bronze): Complete one Cooperative Multiplayer game
Easy enough. Do as it says. Set up a cooperative game and get through the level. After getting through the main game, this should be a walk in the park.
