Hidden Path Entertainment announced that  Defense Grid: The Awakening will be available on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 MS points ($10) on September 2, 2009.

Built on Emergent’s Gamebryo engine (Oblivion, Warhammer Online, Civilization IV), Defense Grid: The Awakening is another tower defense clone with 3d environments, spectacular effects, and a dynamic soundtrack. The Xbox 360 version will included Borderlands mission pack which has four new advanced levels and 12 challenge modes.
