We all know that Left 4 Dead is an Xbox 360 exclusive – this time not because Microsoft paid Valve a ton of money. Valve just doesn’t want to put the time and effort and deal with the PlayStation 3.
That’s why everyone was surprised when EA listed a PS3 version of Left 4 Dead 2 on their website. A solid Fall 2009 release date was given and a placeholder box art for the game as well.
Maybe it means that EA is working on a PS3 version of the game (like they did with the Orange Box). The company removed the PS3 listing over the weekend, so this is still just a rumor…
