Shane Kim from Microsoft was quoted by Kotaku saying that the launch of Project Natal would be as big as the launch of a console. 1UP read between the lines and are saying that “Yes, there will be a new Xbox console next fall.”.
According to 1UP current Xbox 360 games would still be playable on the new console and that we are not goint to see brand new hardware – but an upgraded Xbox 360. According to 1UP’s sources, this “new” console will be anounced at GDC 2010.
