Prince of Persia is getting some major DLC update. The DLC is actually an epilogue to the game and will include two new player skins, a new boss, a new area to explore, new moves, a new power move, new dialogue between Elika and the so-called prince and new Achievements/Trophies.

Jamal Rguigui, Associate Producer for the Epilogue DLC:

Without spoiling the end of the game to those who haven’t completed it, the DLC will develop the relationship between the Prince and Elika following the end of the game and will give additional narrative elements. Expect everything to be at a higher pace and to keep you on the edge of your seat. Figuring out how to succeed passing this long acrobatic sequence mined with traps or how to defeat this boss before he regenerates his energy will definitely be more intense”

Finishing the game is not mandatory in order to play the DLC.
