The latest announcement in the Burnout patch list is a whole new island which would be added to the game – Big Surf Island. Reports suggested the island would be free but Criterion stated that:
“We never expected to create anything this ambitious for the island but as it progressed we got more excited.”
They also said that the new area would be big and very similiar to the airfield the quarry and the beach with lots of drifts and big air jumps.
Along with the new island Criterion has also announced two other packs: The legendary cars pack which will include four new vehicles. There is also talk of a Toy Car pack and a Batman car.
An Ultimate box release is set for Febuary which would include all current updates and enhancements
