The Brothers in Arms franchise has already brought  us two games that were brilliant.
The game delivers fast paced action with unique addition of squad commanding.
You were able to command three squads at a time, counter the Germans’ attacks and win important battles in order to determine the outcome of this great for gamers and horrible for the world war.

The first two games told the real stories of brave allies forces soldiers who fought in the war.
The third game on the tells the touching story of division 101 who tried to flank the German forces on the Rhine river and push them back to Germany and finally Berlin.
The outcome of this operation was devastating – the SS forces found a map with the plan on it and ambushed the divisions who tried to flank them.
All of these battles happened in Holland.

Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway shows a lot of new things in comparison to the first two games.

The cover system – which is fantastic – is the best thing that could have happen to FPS games.

The graphics in the game is great and very detailed – you can actually see each and every stem of grass and every leaf. The buildings are also very detailed, you are able see every brick.
The effects are a pleasure – the explosions are breath taking, you can see the blood of the German’s just spraying all over the place.
If something explodes near the player, dirt will flow all over the screen.

The sound effect are great as well – they feel so realistic and authentic.

So what’s preventing the game from being a perfect 10 out of 10?
Well, the main thing is the controls. The cover system and movement controls are excellent, but the team command controls are just plain horrible.
You have one button to select the unit and another button to tell it what to do. The same button is for movement, Suppressive fire, cover and all the things you can order your squad… That’s just frustrating.
If you miss by an inch, it will order the squad to move away and not fire the enemy…
