Gamestop has started informing it’s customers that they are canceling all Ghostbusters pre-orders.
Customers will have the option of getting a cash refund, or transfer their pre-order to another game.

The Ghostbusters isn’t officially canceled yet but it has an unknown release date, and might eventually never see the light of day.

The reasons for this is kind of simple (and long!).

Ghostbusters is a game by Sierra who is owned by Activision who merged with Blizzard a few months ago.
Usually when two big companies merge there is danger of projects being canceled in order to save money.

From the videos and screenshots I have seen from this game it defiantly looks like a very interesting one…
I really hope Activion-Blizzard will green light this project so we can finally play it!
